Nekomimi:
Nekomimi is a Japanese compound word meaning "Cat ears." This is usually used to refer to Cat-girls or -boys, usually meaning a character who is mostly human but has cat features (ears, tail, slit eyes, etc.) or a character who is dressed up like a cat (with use of a cat-ear headband or clip-on ears, tail, paw-style gloves etc.). This is sometimes correlated with
furry art, but is of a more anime or manga-esque nature and Nekomimi usually refers to human-looking creatures with minor cat features, not the much more furry concept of what is essentially an anthropomorphic animal.
